Young Maine Readers is a Maine registered 501(c) non-profit company with a mission to provide a free book each month to the children of York County. The books are provided from the child's birth to age five through the generous donations of businesses and citizens in and around York County. Young Maine Readers is an affiliate of the Dollywood Foundation.  

The 2nd Annual Making August Awesome for Young Maine Readers 2008 Raffle  is completed. We hope that we have caused some enjoyment to prize winners. Hundreds of children in York County will be receiving books by mail because of your support and caring.
